Director & Occupational Therapist

Josh is the Director of WEYA and a qualified Occupational Therapist. He designs and owns the WEYA Clinical Training Framework, runs intake for complex referrals, and trains the team in-person on ADLs, prescription, manual handling, and behaviour literacy. Calm, direct, contactable.

Kahli

Senior Team Leader

Bachelor of Psychological Science with 11 years working in disability and behavioural support. Kahli started her career supporting adolescents with severe behavioural complexity, placements that demand reading escalation as a clinical signal, holding routine when nothing else does, and never confusing distress with non-compliance. Today she leads WEYA's psychosocial and intellectual disability casework. The team leaders consult her. New support workers learn from her. Operations hold together because she is in the room.

Whether you meet them on day one or year five, every face above has completed the WEYA Clinical Training Framework. Hoists, manual handling, complex feeding, behaviour literacy. A clinician in the room, not a video module.
