Services

The NDIS supports WEYA delivers.

The four NDIS support categories below are the day-to-day work. Equipment and routine sign-off happens before a worker is rostered. Progress notes are written for coordinators, OTs, and plan reviews.

WEYA OT-led NDIS support worker assisting an adult participant with complex disability in Brisbane

Assistance with daily living

Personal care, transfers, medication routines, complex feeding. Delivered by workers trained on the participant's specific equipment before the first shift.

  • ·Hoist and sling sign-off pre-shift
  • ·Continence and skin integrity protocols
  • ·PEG and modified texture feeding

Community access

Therapy pool, appointments, community routines. The participant directs the day, not the roster.

  • ·Adult communication is the recruiting filter
  • ·Equipment competency for every venue
  • ·Therapy carryover documented for allied health partners

24/7 support and short-term accommodation

Active or passive overnight cover, respite, and short-term accommodation. The same dedicated team in the day and at night.

  • ·No new face on the night shift
  • ·Behaviour literacy for nights when escalation matters most
  • ·Documentation continuous across all shifts

Capacity building

Goal-aligned support that protects autonomy and skill. Documented for plan reviews, not for show.

  • ·Goals built with the participant, not for them
  • ·Progress measurable and referenced at review
  • ·Coordinated with treating allied health

Where the depth is

The condition pages are where you will see the clinical specifics.

Services describe what gets delivered. Conditions describe how WEYA delivers them differently for ABI, SCI, stroke, MND, dementia, and the rest of our specialist list.

A clear path from referral to discovery call.

Every referral is acknowledged within 12 hours. Josh reviews capacity and clinical fit, then we either book a discovery call or tell you honestly that WEYA is not the right match for this participant. Progress notes are written so they hold up at plan review.
